Who provides research administration for my grant?

Congratulations on your award. Now that you have won the award, you may be wondering who you can contact if you have questions. The good news is, we are still here to help you now that you have won the award. We provide oversight on research grant administration to ensure that you are compliant with our guidelines and the funding agency. This includes the administration of funds on behalf of the grant principal investigator and a regular review of all grant expenses.

Who should I notify if I am awarded a grant?

All Fraser Health researchers who receive grants must provide a copy of the award notice plus copies of any other documents from the funder on the regulations or conditions governing the use of grant funds to our department. Please submit these documents, along with a Cost Centre Request Form (if you require a research cost centre to hold your research funds), to our research development specialist

Is my award being monitored?

Some funding agencies require that we monitor the expenses charged to research award accounts. We will monitor the expenses on a quarterly basis or as required by the funding agency.

The principal investigator is responsible for providing copies of all expense claims to our research development specialist for review.

Am I accountable?
